With the right fuel, you don’t need to worry about running out of energy, and instead can enjoy every mile to the finish. HIGH5 Energy Drink is a blend of maltodextrin (glucose) and fructose in a scientifically proven ratio of 2:1 designed for fuelling athletes during sport.

The benefit of 2:1 Fructose is that the maximum rate at which your body can absorb carbohydrate is increased from 60g per hour to 90g per hour. That means you can consume 50% more carbohydrate energy per hour. And ultimately, a faster rate of carbohydrate absorption means more carbohydrate for your working muscles, which means you can keep going for longer.

You may also become dehydrated if you do not replace the water and electrolytes lost through sweat. Energy Drink not only keeps you energised, it also provides you with fluids and contains key electrolytes to keep you hydrated. Each refreshing bottle of Energy Drink contains 240mg sodium, 50mg potassium and 84mg chloride.

What is the difference between this and HIGH5 Isotonic Hydration?
HIGH5 Energy Drink is a 2:1 Fructose formulation to maximise your carbohydrate energy intake. It’s also isotonic and contains electrolytes sodium and potassium. Isotonic Hydration contains less carbohydrate and additional electrolytes but still provides energy and support hydration.

When should I use Energy Drink?
Energy Drink has been designed to maximise your carbohydrate energy so you can perform at your best during endurance exercise. Consume up to 90g carbohydrate per hour.

How many scoops do you need for a 750ml bottle?
Mix 3 scoops (70g) if you are making up a 750ml bottle. Shake well before use.

Can I use bars, gels or gummies with Energy Drink?
Of course! Each 500ml bottle of Energy Drink contains 44g of carbohydrate and during endurance exercise you can consume up to 90g carbohydrate per hour for optimum energy. So, yes you can supplement Energy Drink with HIGH5 gels, bars or gummies.

Is this product isotonic?

Does this product contain electrolytes?
Yes, Energy Drink contains electrolytes (240mg sodium, 50mg potassium and 84mg chloride per 500ml bottle) at levels that are right in most conditions. In hot conditions, we’d recommend adding a ZERO Neutral tablet for an additional electrolyte boost.
