We’ve been busy working on an exciting new look, which we launched on National HIGH5 Day on 19th April 2018.
Our products are exactly the same – the formulations, the quality, the taste, the texture – everything you love is still here. Our new look just means some updated product names and a fresh new style. Because there have been a few changes, we wanted to give you an overview of our range to help you find the product that is right for you and your sport.
Why the change?
Well, here at HIGH5, you are the most important thing to us. So, from time to time, we like to check in and find out what you think of our ranges and products.
You responded and told us that the sports nutrition category can be crowded and confusing with it being hard to know what products do what and when.
So, what’s changed?
In response to your feedback, we’ve simplified the range with clearer product names, product ranges and packaging.
Your body has enough carbohydrate to last up to 90 minutes of strenuous exercise. So, during long endurance activities you need to top up your carbohydrate stores to stay on top form. This is where our Energy products come in.
Our Energy range consists of Energy Drink (previously known as EnergySource), Energy Gel, Energy Gel Aqua (previously known as IsoGel), and Energy Bar. And, this range is dedicated to giving you energy. For an added boost, we also offer caffeinated versions of Energy Gel, Energy Gel Aqua and Energy Drink.
When you sweat, your body loses important electrolytes, as well as water. Hydration is vital during exercise and water can’t hydrate AND replace those electrolytes. This is what this range is designed to do.
Your muscles become sore and stiff when they are stressed during exercise so it’s important to take nutrition after exercise to improve the recovery process. Our Recovery range is made to replenish muscles with both carbohydrate to replace lost glycogen and protein to repair muscle damage.
Lastly, we have the Active range for those of you who are after healthy on-the-go snacks to keep you going throughout the day.
How do I know which product to take when?
Because we also wanted to make it easy for you to know when our products are best consumed, we’ve added ‘before’, ‘during’ and ‘after’ to our packaging to indicate when they’re best taken around exercise or sport. When there’s no handy marker then it means the products are good to have any time of day!
We hope these changes to our packaging and product names make it quicker and easier for you to find the right nutrition, whatever your goal. But, if you’d like to know more about fuelling your sport, take a look at our nutrition guides.
